Released in November 1984, Reckless is one of Adams’ most successful albums.  Back in the day when MTV actually ran music videos 24/7 you couldn’t watch the music channel for more than a few minutes without seeing  Adams’ visuals for “Run To You,” “Heaven,” “Summer Of 69,” “Sombody” and other songs from the long player.

The Recording Academy also liked Reckless, giving it two Grammy noms, including one for best rock vocal performance.  His duet with Tina Turner on “It’s Only Love” received a nomination for best rock vocal performance by a duo or group.  Since its release, Reckless has sold more than 12 million copies worldwide.
