Gates Of Slumber Bassist Dies

Although Gates Of Slumber broke up last year after McCash left the group, the band inspired an international following, according to the Indianapolis Star.  McCash also co-wrote many of the band’s songs with guitarist/singer Karl Simon.

The band’s final recording was the Stormcrow EP released in 2013.

McCash also founded the Templars Of Doom festival which ran in the Indianapolis area in 2004, 2005 and 2009.

A cause of death has not yet been reported.  McCash is survived by his wife and three children.  Please visit the Gates Of Slumber website for more information.
