Shonen Knife Shifts Into ‘Overdrive’

Japan’s most excellent indie trio returns to the U.S. for a September road trip beginning on the East Coast.  Stops for Shonen Knife include Chicago, San Francisco, Denver and Seattle.

Shonen Knife will be touring in support of its 19th studio album, Overdrive, featuring 10 new songs written by founding member Naoko Yamano that continues the band’s observations on food, fantasy and daily life in Osaka while giving a wink to ’70s hard rock.  Overdrive arrives April 15 via Good Charamel Records.
