Juan Gabriel Postponements

Juan Gabriel is taking a little sick time.  The Latin superstar has been hospitalized with pneumonia, resulting in the postponement of three California shows on his “Volver” tour.

Monday wasn’t a good day for “El Divo de Juarez,” one of the best-selling Latin recording artists of all time.  Gabriel was rushed to a Las Vegas-area hospital’s intensive care unit after waking up with a fever and congestion. Gabriel had performed an extended, three-hour concert at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino the night before.

So far, three shows on Gabriel’s schedule have been postponed.  Gabriel was scheduled to begin a multiple-evening engagement at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre L.A. Live Wednesday evening. Now his April 16 & 17 shows at the venue are postponed and will be rescheduled.

Gabriel had planned to break up his Nokia Theatre run with an evening at San Jose’s SAP Center April 19.  That show is also being rescheduled.  At this time Gabriel is expected to return to the stage in Los Angeles at the Nokia on May 1. which was originally planned to be his third show at the theatre.
