Live Nation To Open JBL Live

Live Nation will launch a new outdoor concert venue this summer in partnership with New York’s Hudson River Park Trust and naming-rights sponsor JBL audio.

An artist rendering shows the soon-to-be-opened JBL Live at Pier 97 at Hudson River Park in NYC that will host top-name artists throughout the summer.

“We have been looking for the perfect outdoor space in NYC for live music and the minute we saw Hudson River Park’s Pier 97, we knew we had found it,” said Live Nation New York President Jason Miller.

The 5,250-capacity JBL Live at Pier 97 will host the Citi Concert Series featuring The Fray, 311, the “Soulshine” tour with Michael Franti & Spearhead, SOJA, Brett Dennen and Trevor Hall, Thievery Corporation, and many more starting July 9.
