Summerfest Books Luke Bryan

Looks like Luke Bryan’s kind of night is an evening at the “world’s largest music festival.” Summerfest announced today that it had snagged the country singer for one of the last two slots it had to fill for the 2014 edition.

Summerfest will celebrate 11 days of music when it takes over the Marcus Amphitheatre in Milwaukee June 25-29 and July 1-6.

Bryan’s June 28 appearance is scheduled in the middle of the routing for his “That’s My Kind Of Night Tour” as he continues supporting his fourth studio album, Crash My Party. The 2013 LP includes the single “That’s My Kind Of Night.”

The Saturday performance at Summerfest will feature special guest Danielle Bradbery.

Today’s news means the festival has just one headline act left to reveal – the July 1 artist.

The rest of the lineup is packed to the rafters with star after star, including Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Brad Paisley, Outkast, Dave Matthews Band, Zac Brown Band, Mötley Crüe, Fall Out Boy, Paramore and Usher.

Presale tickets for Bryan’s show will be available Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. The general onsale is scheduled Saturday, May 3 at 11 a.m. Both times are Central.
