Lewis Black Keeps Ranting

Hope you’re prepared to set aside some time for a good tirade because Lewis Black has announced dates for the fall leg of “The Rant Is Due” tour.

Black is a touring machine, performing more than 200 nights annually around the world. The comedian has added 30 dates to his schedule, with the new round of gigs launching in September.

Attendees can expect a “cathartic release of anger and disillusionment” from the “passionate performer who is a more pissed-off optimist than a mean-spirited curmudgeon.”

Earlier this month Black appeared on Marc Maron’s “WTF Podcast.” Click here for the NSFW discussion, which includes Black’s thoughts on stretching, L.A. traffic and playwriting.

And tune in to EPIX May 2 to catch the premiere of Black’s “Old Yeller,” which was filmed at Atlantic City’s Borgata. The performance is also available on CD and DVD.

Black is in the middle of the first set of 2014 dates, which began in January. Next stop is a May 9 show in Minneapolis.
