The Hold Steady’s Tour Goes On Forever

There are two types of teeth dreams. One causes you to realize that you’re apparently dealing with anxiety and/or a big change in your life. And then there’s The Hold Steady’s new album, which the band will be supporting on the road through September.

Teeth Dreams, which was released in March, marks The Hold Steady’s sixth studio album. The LP has charmed publications from the New York Times to the AV Club.

“The Hold Steady has boldly rebuilt its music from within,” the New York Times writes. “The band’s essence is still the voice and words of Craig Finn, an elliptical storyteller who sings (and talk-sings) with a robust grit. AV Club bestowed the LP with an A- review, noting, “The Hold Steady as a whole has at last jelled into a rock band – nothing more, nothing less, and nothing held back.”

Today Craig Finn and the gang announced a new round of dates as part of the “Nights Go On Forever Tour.”
