Splintered Seat Suit

A female concertgoer is set on taking the Live Nation-owned NYCB Theatre at Westbury in New York to court over a bench that she says left her with a backside full of splinters. 

NYCB Theatre at Westbury concert when she attempted to slide over to make room for another concertgoer, according to the New York Post.

But she was in for a bit of a surprise, as splinters reportedly lodged into her buttocks and legs.

An attorney for the woman told the paper Vanston has received “painful injections to help dislodge,” the 1,000 splinters that wedged into her skin. Vanston’s suit, which is seeking unspecified damages, also claims she’s had to take time off work following the incident.
