T.I., The Game In Standoff With LAPD

T.I. and The Game were involved in a tense standoff with Los Angeles police early Wednesday morning after the rappers mistakenly believed the officers beat up some of their associates.

The two hip-hop stars were inside The Supperclub when “mutual acquaintances” were denied entrance.  The acquaintances and security guards apparently got into a heated discussion, with one of the two men allegedly landing a punch on a guard. The punch can be heard on a video obtained by TMZ.

Mayhem ensued, with one security guard apparently repeatedly kicking one of the men while he was on the ground. Both were subdued and the cops were called.

However, after the police arrived and T.I. and The Game emerged from the club, the two artists assumed the LAPD were responsible for the takedowns. Tempers eventually cooled but not before at least one officer brandished a baton.

The two injured men were taken to LAPD’s Hollywood division but no one wanted to file charges so they left, according to TMZ.
