The folks at Monster Energy’s Welcome To Rockville want you to know that the April 26-27 festival at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Fla. – which featured performances by Avenged Sevenfold, The Cult, Rob Zombie, Korn, Five  Finger Death Punch, Staind and others – attracted 40,000 fans, resulting in a sold-out fourth year.

“Rockville #4 is in the books and was a perfect way to kick off the World’s Loudest Month.  Two full days of rock, sweat and beers – aka the perfect storm of good times,” said Loudwire Nights host Full Metal Jackie.

“We are proud to report, that for the second year in a row, downtown hotels were sold out during the festival weekend and business was dramatically increased in the area,” Rockville producer Danny Wimmer said.  “The fact that we’ve increased attendance at the festival by 60 percent in one year shows that there’s a demand in the market and that we have room to keep expanding.  We’ll continue to do everything we can do to keep rock alive at Met Park and build Jacksonville as a destination music city not only for rock music fans, but for the artists themselves.”
