Tia Butts’ suit, filed in Cook County Circuit Court, alleges a performer at a concert featuring A$AP Rocky and Been Trill jumped off the stage and landed on her, which led to injuries to her head, neck and back.
The suit seeks more than $50,000 and claims the defendants “neglected to maintain a safe environment for the patrons,” according to court documents obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times.
Butts is unsure which performer jumped off the stage during the show, the suit says.
No other attendees were taken to hospitals following the incident. A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, and Been Trill were also named in the suit. A spokesperson for Live Nation said the company doesn’t comment on pending litigation.
