Lily Allen’s North American Run

Announcing her first North American tour in five years, Lily Allen will launch the fall trek in Miami in September.  Stops include Atlanta, Boston, Toronto and Los Angeles with tickets going on sale this week.

May is turning out to be a good month for the British pop singer.  Her new album, Sheezus, arrived last week and shot up to No. 1 on iTunes in the U.K. and five other countries while here in North America the long player hit No. 2 on iTunes.

Coming up a bit sooner than Allen’s autumn tour is her exclusive sold-out show at New York City’s Highline Ballroom May 15.  She’s also making the TV rounds, appearing on “The Today Show” May 14; “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” May 15 and “Live with Kelly and Michael” on May 26.  Allen will also tape an episode of PBS’ “The Artist’s Den” during the summer.
