Notes From Downunder: Taking Back Sunday, The Used

Following sellout shows in the United States, the pairing of Taking Back Sunday and The Used is heading downunder for Soundwave Touring.

They do four East Coast clubs Aug. 21-25.

Soundwave also has English band Kasabian here Aug. 5-12 doing a mix of arenas, theatres and clubs.

Veruca Salt’s first run downunder since 1998 has been a success.

After tickets went on sale, Metropolis Touring and Select Touring had to expand the run to seven club dates Sept. 24 to Oct. 4.

Metropolis and Select also have Ingrid Michaelson for a third time. Her first two tours sold out. This time she does four clubs Sept. 19-24.

Destroy all Lines booked Anberlin farewell dates for five theatres Sept. 3-9. The band has toured downunder many times during its 12-year span. They are teamed with Australian live powerhouse Getaway Plan.

Ministry of Sound has Kenny Dope and Sam Divine headlining the Defected In The House tour. They do five clubs May 30 to June 8.

Flamenco singer Diego el Cigala does five theatres Aug. 25 to Sept. 1 for Duet Group.
