Offspring Tops ‘Summer Nationals’ Tour

Offering you a chance to see Offspring, Bad Religion and Pennywise on the same ticket, the “Summer Nationals” tour launches in Pittsburgh in late July.  Destinations include New York, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Milwaukee and Toronto.

Fans who were at Epitaph Records’ “Summer Nationals” at the Hollywood Palladium in 1994 might be undergoing a case of déjà vu right now. On the heels of the Offspring’s then-new release – Smash – the three bands headlined a three-day sold out blast at the venue that fans are still talking about two decades later.  Now the whole world will see what the Palladium crowd experienced 20 years ago.

Expect the Offspring to perform a start-to-finish rendition of Smash.  Bad Religion, which released its True North album in early 2013 and the Christmas Songs EP in October, will serve up tasty nuggets from the band’s catalog while Pennywise performs new songs from the group’s upcoming LP plus favorites from the past.  The ‘Summer Nationals” outing will be the first full North American tour for Pennywise since lead singer Jim Lindberg returned after a four-year hiatus.
