John Fogerty Turns Back The Clock

John Fogerty’s fall run through Canada will dig deep into his Creedence Clearwater Revival roots with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member featuring songs from the year when CCR released three of its now-classic albums.

How often does your favorite band release new material?  In 1969 Creedence put out Bayou Country, Green River and Willy And The Poor Boys, three albums that pretty much defined the band’s legacy.  That was the year fans first heard “Proud Mary,” “Green River,” “Born On The Bayou,” “Down On The Corner,” “Fortunate Son” and other classics that have long withstood the years since released and still sound as fresh today as back in the day.

Now Fogerty is promising a return to that era with his fall tour, playing songs from 1969 as well as selections from his entire catalog.  Here are the dates:
