The Dear Hunter & Rx Bandits Reveal Tour
News of the expedition comes with the latest update of Dear Hunter frontman/multi-instrumentalist Casey Crescenzo’s debut symphony – Amour & Attrition – to be released digitally on June 3 and physically June 24. Here’s a taste of the work, a snippet from “Movement I.”
Amour & Attrition was performed and recorded in November in the Czech Republic with the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of conductor Mikel Toms. Funding for the project was crowd-sourced via PledgeMusic. The album will be released through Crescenzo’s personal imprint, Cave & Canary Goods.
A crowd-sourced album utilizing PledgeMusic is also in the works from Rx Bandits. Earlier this week the band posted a message its Facebook page saying the recording for the long player was completed and that mastering had begun.
