Industry Noize: Buddy Lee Expands Services

Buddy Lee Attractions is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an expansion of services.

The BLA umbrella now includes 38 Music Artist Development and 38 Music Publishing, plus a professional speaker and guest appearances division.

The 38 Music Artist Development Division will help cultivate business plans for talent, assisting in the coordination of artists’ teams and foundations and overseeing day-to-day activities such songwriting, publishing, booking, new product awareness campaigns, artist branding, tour scheduling and more.

“This is not a novel or innovative transition, this is a Buddy Lee Attractions business standard and service that our company was founded upon,” said newly appointed Buddy Lee CEO Donna Lee. “BLA has never been ‘just a booking agency;’ we are an artist career and relations group and our passion is to help the artist become valuable to the market – to sustain a long life in music and entertainment – and it all starts with a solid organizational plan with a solid team supporting the artist.”

The recently formed speaker division is headed by Mike Meade and features authors, actor/entertainers and professionals including Tim Guraedy (Mountain Man) of “Duck Dynasty,” Krystal Campbell of “American Hoggers,” Lauren Wray of “American Pickers,” the Gold family of “Hardcore Pawn,” and many more.

Former agency president Kevin Neal recently stepped down, becoming a partner at WME Nashville.
