Happy 30/40, Mannheim Steamroller!

Break out the figgy pudding because the dates are here for Mannheim Steamroller’s Christmas tour and we have lots to celebrate! The annual holiday trek launches Nov. 12 in Pensacola, Fla., and runs through late December.

The symphonic pop group founded by producer/composer Chip Davis is marking 30 years since the release of its first Christmas album, Mannheim Steamroller Christmas, otherwise known as Christmas 1984. Plus, come Jan. 1, it will have been 40 years since the release of the act’s very first album, Fresh Aire.

As Mannheim Steamroller’s website punnily points out, fans should make sure and join the group “during this Extraordin-AIRE-y Mannheim Steamroller 30/40 year!”
