Festival Noize: Los Angeles’ Festival Supreme, Tahoe’s SnowGlobe

Self-acclaimed “greatest band in the world” Tenacious D announces the lineup for the comedy/music extravaganza called Festival Supreme … SnowGlobe may not have any acts to talk up yet but the South Lake Tahoe end-of-year music fest has ticketing news for you.

Never one to shy away from reminding the world of its awesomeness, Tenacious D (Jack Black and Kyle Gass) has slotted the one-day-only Festival Supreme for Oct. 25 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena and Exposition Park. Included on the roster are Metalocalypse, Cheech & Chong, Workaholics, Margaret Cho, The State, Fred Armisen & Bill Hader, Nick Kroll, Peaches, Drunk History, Norm Macdonald, Janeane Garofalo, and Barry Hansen aka radio’s Dr. Demento.

But the names listed above only represent a small smattering of the talent Messrs. Black and Gass have planned for you. Eagles Of Death Metal, The Dan Band, and The Aquabats are on the ticket, as is The Kyle Gass Band and, of course, Tenacious D.

“Here it is, the good times lineup you were promised,” Tenacious D said in a statement. “Put that in your pipe and smoke it!”

Tickets, including $99 (plus fees) general admission and $250 VIP (plus fees), go on sale May 30 at 10 a.m. PDT. Last year’s Festival Supreme at Santa Monica Pier was a sell-out so make your plans now. Click here for more information.

The fourth annual SnowGlobe Music Festival will take place in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., at Lake Tahoe Community College Dec. 29-31.

The festival’s onsale launches May 30 at 11 a.m. PDT. A limited amount of early bird weekend passes for SnowGlobe Elist subscribers will be available. Also up for grabs are $109 SnowDay Tickets while supplies last. Once SnowDay tickets sell out advance SnowGlobe weekend passes will be available for $134.
