Shooting Follows Soul Concert
A man who was shot in his car May 25 after leaving a concert at Concord Pavilion in Concord, Calif., remains in critical condition in a local hospital, authorities said.
The shooting, which occurred at an intersection several miles away from the venue, occurred when a man got out of his car and fired several shots into the victim’s car, hitting both the female driver and the male passenger, according to the Contra Costa Times.
The woman was reportedly treated and released.
The man and woman had both attended the Stone Soul concert that evening and police told the paper it was unclear whether the suspect and victims got into a fight during the show or in the venue parking lot before the shooting. An investigation is ongoing.
