Get Ready For A Third ‘Aftershock’

The Monster Energy Aftershock Festival begins shaking things up for year No. 3 by proclaiming throughout the known universe that Godsmack, Weezer, The Offspring, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch and Limp Bizkit are just a few of the acts on its already growing lineup.

Presented by Danny Winner Presents, the decibel-heavy extravaganza taking place in Northern California at Sacramento’s Discovery Park Sept. 13-14 will also serve up Rise Against, Chevelle, Awolnation, Buckcherry, Bad Religion, Pepper, Black Label Society, Pennywise, Black Stone Cherry, Hellyeah, Memphis May Fire, Fuel, Dead Sara and others.

Here’s the daily breakdown:

Needless to say, the promoter behind Aftershock is somewhat excited about the talent playing not one, not two, but three main stages.

“After a sold out 2013, I’m excited to bring a more diverse lineup to aftershock with many of the top artists of the last two decades in rock, alternative, punk and metal,” Wimmer said. “The addition of a third main stage this year and the expanded rock genres will only add to the excitement of what makes Monster Energy’s Aftershock a one-of-a-kind experience.”

Here’s the ticket situation. A special “pre-Shock” presale featuring discounted prices begins June 3 at 10 a.m. PDT and runs through June 5 and will feature a limited number of discounted weekend general admission tix. Plus, weekend VIP tickets will also be available at reduced prices during the three-day presale.

Pricing goes like this: June 3-5 Weekend VIP tickets will be priced at $199.50. On June 3 the price of weekend general admission passes will be $69.50. Expect a $10 bump on June 4 and by June 5 those weekend GA tickets will sell for $89.50.
