Sun Center Studios President Jeffrey Rotwitt has said he envisioned the studios as a “major tourist destination” on the I-95 corridor with back-lot tours and other attractions, retail and restaurants.
Concerts may help it reach that destination status.
BRE Presents has signed on to book this year’s 10-show Starlight Summer Concert Series, but more performances could be on the horizon.
“We haven’t completely said that we are finished in terms of adding shows,” BRE Presents President Bill Rogers told the Times.
“If there’s another show or two that makes sense in terms of schedules and what we’re doing, we would add it.” And depending on fan response to the inaugural season, a larger slate of shows or a music festival may be considered, Rogers said.
