Live Nation Firm On Monáe Refund
Ticket buyers are threatening to complain to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission watchdog over a 50 percent offer Live Nation offered for a canceled Janelle Monáe appearance May 17 show at the Melbourne Forum .
Live Nation emailed ticketholders to advise they would get a 50 percent refund of the A$100 ($93) tickets.
Comments on Live Nation and Ticketmaster websites demanded a full refund.
One fan called the decision “completely unacceptable, given that only 1 of the publicised three sets was played.”
The Justice Department told The Age paper patrons could apply for a full refund through Consumer Affairs Victoria.
