Lorde Rules North America

Some 17-year-olds spend the summer working at the local ice cream shop or movie theater. As for Lorde, she’ll be busy touring Australia and playing a handful of North American festivals like Lollapalooza and Osheaga. Plus, she’s got a new round of gigs booked through October.

After rocking Rock In Rio in Lisbon, Portugal, over the weekend, Lorde’s next show is Friday at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.

The New Zealand singer/songwriter is continuing to support her Grammy Award-winning debut, 2013’s Pure Heroine.

The Australian excursion, which was rescheduled because of illness earlier this year, launches in July.

Lorde will also take the stage during Weekend 2 of Austin City Limits, sometime between Oct. 10-12. The festival has not yet revealed its daily itiniary.
