Alsina Stops Show For Hat
Alsina, known for the song “I Love This” and for having a beef with fellow crooner Trey Songz, was singing on top of his bodyguard’s shoulders at the Metroplex Event Center while in the crowd, according to sources, when his hat either fell off or was yanked from his head.
Either way, the hat – apparently a gift from his late brother Melvin – was not immediately returned and Alsina stopped the song to voice his displeasure.
“I came out here to f*ck with y’all so if you got it, ain’t nobody leaving out this b*tch until I get it back,” he said. “Are we gonna cause a muthaf*ckin riot or what?”
After he and security guards moved through the crowd, Alsina said, “I’m sorry but the muthaf*ckin show is over.”
The promoter, Da Ja Blue, told a Little Rock news station that the hat was retrieved but he was upset with the R&B singer because an audience member got hurt.
“My street team saw the person that snatched the hat off. They went over to get the hat. They got the hat from the girl and as soon as she turned around to give them the hat they jumped on her,” he said.
Alsina made news recently for a contentious moment while being interviewed by “106 & Park” co-host Keisha Chante.
The singer apparently told her prior to the interview to not bring up his beef with Trey Songz and when she did so in the interview, he used curse words when responding that he would not comment about it.
