Paul McCartney Changes

Even though Paul McCartney is recovering from the virus that forced him to postpone shows in Japan and South Korea, the former Beatle is moving the start of his U.S. tour to July.  Details after the jump.

McCartney’s journey through the U.S. was to begin June 14 in Lubbock, Texas.  However,  his doctors have ordered a little more down time before Macca returns to the concert stage.  That means the “Out There” tour will not resume until July 5 in Albany, N.Y.

“I’m sorry but it’s going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again,” McCartney said.  “I’m feeling great but taking my docs’ advice to take it easy for just a few more days.  Look forward to seeing you all soon.”

Here are the changes:

Oct. 2 – Lubbock, Texas, United Spirit Arena (was June 14)
Oct. 11 – New Orleans, La., Smoothie King Center (was June 19)
Oct. 13 – Dallas, Texas, American Airlines Center (was June 16)
