Gary Allan, Mavericks For Deni Ute Muster

Country acts Gary AllanThe Mavericks and Blackjack Billy join high-profile Aussies Jimmy BarnesSheppardJames ReyneJoe Camilleri and rock band Spiderbait for this October’s Australian country music festival, Deni Ute Muster.

The 16-year-old event draws up to 25,000 to the New South Wales town of Deniliquin, which has a population of 8,000. The event last year set new records for the amount of utes (pickup trucks) in attendance (9,736) and the amount of those sporting blue singlets (3,924).

Soulfest also stages outdoors in Sydney and Brisbane with 20 live acts and DJs including Mos DefCommon, Aloe Blacc, Maxwell, D’Angelo and Angie Stone.

Chugg Entertainment added third shows for Bob Dylan at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre (Aug. 20) and Sydney State Theatre (Sept. 5).

Future Classic and BBE have Swedish band Little Dragon for club dates in Sydney (Aug. 19) and Melbourne (Aug. 20).

Future Music and Frontier Touring have major Dutch club DJ Hardwell for three outdoor shows in October.

Coolio, who canceled a tour last year at the last minute, is confirmed for nine clubs July 31 to Aug. 12. 

Courtney Love returns for eight theatre shows Aug. 13-24 through Lennard Promotions.
