L.A. County Supervisor Takes On Tix
Fake concert tickets are apparently on the mind of Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, who’s written a blog offering ticket advice for fans before this summer’s major shows.

Yaroslavsky recently reached out to the local Department of Consumer Affairs, which advised that fans buy directly from the venue box office or primary ticketing company and pay with credit card. His blog also included a tip from Ticketmaster warning fans against showing off newly purchased tickets on social media.
“We cannot express this point enough, please do NOT take photos of your ticket stubs and post them on social media sites,” TM said. “This is the perfect way for scalpers to rip these tickets right off you.”
