SFX Shakeup

SFX Entertainment announced a new executive management structure with four execs named to a new executive management group, Joseph Rascoff shifting from COO to Chairman of Live Entertainment, and a former president leaving the company.

Ritty van Straalen, Timothy Crowhurst, Richard Rosenstein and Chris Stephenson will head up the newly formed management group, reporting to CEO Robert Sillerman.

Van Straalen, former COO and CEO of ID&T, is credited with bringing Europe’s TomorrowWorld, Sensation, Mysteryland and Q-Dance to North America.

Jacob Smid replaces van Straalen as managing director of SFX North America.

Rascoff is stepping aside as COO to take on his new role as well as that of vice chairman of the board of directors.

Duncan Stutterheim, a founder of ID&T, has been named the head of SFX Europe.

Dror Erez has the equivalent title for SFX Australia.

Sheldon Finkel, former vice chairman, is now chairman of strategy and development. Paul Greenberg, previous president of the company, is leaving the organization. Crowhurst remains president of SFX.
