Wishing Upon A Star For New J Mascis Dates

J Mascis is spending September through November on the road showing off tunes from his upcoming album, Tied To A Star.  The Dinosaur Jr. frontman will be hitting up major markets including Chicago, Pittsburgh, New York, Los Angeles and Seattle, as well as plenty of stops in between.

Tied To A Star is due out Aug. 25 in Europe and Aug. 26 in North America via Sub Pop. Recorded and produced by Mascis, the LP was mixed by John Agnello at Bisquiteen in Amherst, Mass., and includes guest appearances from Cat Power, Ken Maiuri of Young@Heart Chorus, Black Heart Procession’s Pall Jenkins and  Miracle Legion’s Mark Mulcahy.
