More Love From Aziz Ansari

Following the tragic news last month that “Parks and Recreation” will conclude with the upcoming seventh season, we’ve got a happy announcement about Tom Haverford. His alter ego, Aziz Ansari, has booked another round of “Modern Romance” dates.

As the name of the tour suggests, the actor/comedian has been spending his time on stage this year sharing his observations on love in the 21st century.

And through interviews and focus groups, Aziz has been asking fans for their thoughts on navigating romance in a world of texting, Facebook and online dating. Earlier this year he took to Reddit to get users to answer questions about smartphones, social media, first dates and faithfullness.

Azis will be compiling some of the information he’s gathered in a book he’s working on with NYU professor Eric Klinenberg on – you guessed it – modern romance. The book is tentatively due out September 2015 via Penguin Press, according to the New York Times.

The brief fall excursion begins Sept. 12 in Houston. Here’s the plan:

Sept. 12 – Houston, Texas, Toyota Center
Sept. 13 – Dallas, Texas, American Airlines Center
Sept. 26 – Philadelphia, Pa., Wells Fargo Center
Sept. 27 – Washington, D.C., Verizon Center
Oct. 4 – Las Vegas, Nev., Mandalay Bay Events Center
Oct. 9 – New York, N.Y., Madison Square Garden Arena

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 13.
