Jeff Dunham Scores Vegas Residency

Dummies will rule in Las Vegas when comedian/ventriloquist Jeff Dunham begins his residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in November. Joining him will be familiar sidekicks José Jalapeño, Walter The Grumpy Retiree and other oddballs you’ve come to know and love.

Constant Convocation Center, Norfolk, Va.

Titled “Not Playing With A Full Deck,” the AEG Live-produced run won’t have Dunham going it alone. In addition to his above-mentioned friends, he’ll also welcome Achmed The Dead Terrorist, NASCAR-loving Bubba J, Peanut, and, of course, his hinged-jaw downsized doppelgänger, Little Jeff.

“After being on the road for 28 years, it will be a welcomed pleasure to anchor my show in a permanent location in Las Vegas beginning in November,” Dunham said. “I’m very much looking forward to welcoming our fans from all around the world in our new home at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.”

Dunham is definitely thinking ahead. So far, he and his chattering comrades are booked for six months although you never really know how just long these Vegas residencies will run. Here’s the schedule:
