X Sets More 4-Night Stands

X has added four-night stands in three more cities. The seminal Los Angeles punk band is targeting New York, Chicago and Cleveland for evenings in which the group will perform its first four albums from top to bottom.

The Buckhead Theatre, Atlanta, Ga.

Having already announced its intentions to play one album per night at the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood July 10-13, X will give New York the four LPs in as many nights Aug. 21-24 at City Winery. For Chicago the venue name is the same – City Winery – and the dates are Sept. 2-5. Cleveland is the last city to host X for four nights, with the band playing the Music Box Supper Club Sept. 9-12.

Here’s the plan for all three cities:

In other X news the band’s West Coast tour scheduled for July 19-Aug.3 will be an acoustic affair with John Doe, Exene Cervenka, Billy Zoom and D.J. Bonebrake beginning that chapter of their journey in Pioneer Town, Calif., July 19 and concluding at the Pickathon in Portland, Ore., Aug. 3.
