Rain Turns Greenfield To Wet Field
The fact it did 3,000 per day less than last year doesn’t bother Hamburg-based promoter Folkert Koopmans as in 2013 his Greenfield Festival had Rammstein and it didn’t rain for three days.

While most of Europe was enjoying bright weather, apparently that wasn’t the case in the Swiss Alps near Interlaken.
Koopmans said he sold hardly any tickets after the event had started and the wet weather had set in.
Over the weekend, Koopmans’ FKP Scorpio had three medium-sized festivals in three different countries – the others being in Denmark and The Netherlands – and sold 84,000 tickets.
The acts finding one of the few wet spots in Europe June 12-14 included Iron Maiden, Linkin Park, In Flames, Gogol Bordello, and Dropkick Murphys.
