More Evenings With Mraz

Jason Mraz has announced additional stops on his YES! tour that will see the singer/songwriter hitting up intimate venues around the world beginning in August.

The acoustic adventure, which features his longtime friends and YES! collaborators Raining Jane, launches in his adopted hometown of San Diego Aug. 21 at the Civic Theatre. After selling out that gig, Mraz has signed on for a second performance at the venue the next night.

He’ll make his way along the West Coast and then on to Arizona and Texas. He’s also added two new shows in the fall in Germany. More U.S. dates are coming, along with excursions planned in Asia, Australia and South America.

The outing, in support of the July 15 release of his fifth studio album, YES!, isn’t all Mraz has up his sleeve for fans, however.

He’s has just released a short film, “We Can Take The Long Way,” that includes three songs from the album – “Love Someone,” “Hello, You Beautiful Thing” and “Long Drive.” The film was directed by Jeff Nicholas and Jonathan Craven and produced by The Uprising Creative.

Mraz’s also inviting fans on Instagram to tag their favorite summer shots with #SummerOfYES to be eligible to win a variety of prizes, including tickets for the tour. He’ll pick his favorites to feature on his social sites.
