Kirk Hammett’s ‘Fear FestEvil After Party’

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett is teaming up with Exodus for a special event this month coinciding with San Diego’s Comic-Con. Keep reading to find out how you can attend the free event dubbed the “Fear FestEvil After Party.”

The 21+ shindig takes place July 25 in San Diego at F6ix. The special show marks Zetro’s first U.S. performance since he official rejoined Exodus’ lineup. Hammett plans on taking the stage with the legendary Bay Area thrashers for a few songs. Plus, you can also count on “surprise friends” showing up too.

The “Fear FestEvil After Party” takes its name from Hammett’s inaugural horror convention held earlier this year in San Francisco – “Kirk Von Hammett’s Fear FestEvil.” The guitarist launched the convention after hosting special event screenings of his favorite classic horror movies and forming KVH Toys in 2011 to create custom horror collectibles. Hammett even released a book, “Too Much Horror Business,” documenting his collection of horror memorabilia.

The debut Fear FestEvil featured horror and musical guests including Greg Nicotero of “The Walking Dead,” along with Carcass and Death Angel. There was even a taxidermy class.

More events are forthcoming. In the meantime, you can RSVP now to the “Fear FestEvil After Party” by clicking here. Doors open at 9 p.m. Fans are encouraged to show up early because space is limited and entry is not guaranteed.
