Garth Brooks Teases Announcement

Folks rarely look forward to the first day of the work week, especially when it follows a three-day holiday weekend. But Garth Brooks’ fans will be counting down the clock until Monday when their hero makes a big reveal.

Sometimes less is really more, like the short tease on Brooks’ website stating , “The wait is over … 7/7.” The brief message is accompanied by lightning while “thunder rolls” out of the speakers.

Is Brooks planning on announcing a tour? Rolling Stone points out that the artist told ABC’s Good Morning America last year that he planned on touring the globe in 2014. Plus, back when he hung up his touring shoes, Brooks said he wanted to stay home and raise his family and that his youngest daughter recently graduated high school.

At this time Brooks’ only dates are his upcoming shows at Croke Park Stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Who knows? Come Monday there might be a few more stops added to his touring calendar. Stay tuned.
