Morris, Oswald Merge MORE

Longtime Nashville artist managers Dale Morris and Marc Oswald – who are also behind The Woods at Fontanel – have merged their company, MORE Entertainment, with American Hospitality Management to form a unique resort and entertainment management company.

MORE American Hospitality hits the ground with Fontanel Properties – including the former Barbara Mandrell mansion, The Woods At Fontanel amphitheatre, Café Fontanella, The Inn at Fontanel, The Studio Gallery and the Music City Zip Lines. It will also support operations at the Dead wood Mountain Grand, A Holiday Inn resort in Deadwood, S.D., which currently includes 98 rooms and suits, a casino, two restaurants, a live entertainment lounge and 3,00-capacity Event Center.

Morris, whose storied Nashville career spans 40 years, becomes chairman of the board of MORE American hospitality while Oswald will serve as CEO.

Joining them in leadership positions of the new company are President/COO Don Schappacher, secretary Fred Kindell and Chris Godfrey, who is the senior regional VP and partner of American Hospitality Management.

MORE American Hospitality will, in addition to enhancing the Fontanel and Deadwood resorts, will work to acquire additional management opportunities within this resort/entertainment “niche” as well as the hotel business in general, according to a statement.
