Industry Noize: Phillips Consulting Rock In Rio

As Rock In Rio begins its PR campaign to promote next year’s Las Vegas event, Phillips – the former CEO of AEG Live – has apparently been advising Rock in Rio’s Roberto Medina in preparation for the inaugural edition May 8-9 and May 15-16 along the Vegas Strip at an outdoor complex MGM Resorts International is constructing next to its MGM Grand hotel.

“[Medina] understands better than anyone I’ve ever met how to activate sponsorship at a festival,” Phillips told the New York Times.
