Tommy Ramone
Dies at 62
Drummer Tommy Ramone, the last original member of seminal punk band The Ramones, has died of cancer at 62.

He had been in hospice care following treatment for bile duct cancer and died at his home in the Ridgewood area of Queens, NY, according to Variety.
Born Erdelyi Tamas in Budapest, Hungary, Ramone played on the first three Ramones albums, Ramones, Leave Home and Rocket to Russia. He also co-produced the latter two albums.
He left the band to concentrate on studio work and was replaced by Marc Bell, better known as Marky Ramone.
