It will release the Hungry Ghost album Sept. 29.

Its Australian release saw the band’s popularity rise in the last six months; its current tour is mostly a sellout. But a U.S. radio edit of first single “Covered In Chrome” had to snip out the line “Hell fuck yeah!” a chant that made it a live favorite.

“I need to expand my vocabulary,” Luke Boerdam quipped.

Violent Soho were based in NYC for some time when signed to Thurston Moore’s Ecstatic Peace! label.
