The Macy Gray Way
Macy Gray will be back on stage this fall after squeezing in time to write and record a new album during last year’s tour. The September/October excursion features nearly 30 dates and launches Sept. 17 in Solana Beach, Calif.
Marking her eighth studio album, The Way is due out Oct. 7 via Kobalt Music Group.
“I wanted to create a record that reflects who I’ve become as a woman, mother and artist,” says Gray. “This album is very personal to me. I want my fans to understand the place where I’m at in life and feel inspired by my music because it’s relatable.”
