Apparently Phish’s fall schedule balances its summer run which only goes as far west as Commerce, Colo., where the band will play three nights at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

The kick off in Eugene, Ore., will mark the first time in 20 years that the band has played the college town and the first time ever it has appeared at the Matthew Knight Arena.

Other locales also have a history with the band.  Phish first played the Santa Barbara Bowl when it opened for Santana in 1992.  The group’s October show scheduled for the Los Angeles-area Forum will mark the band’s first concert in the building since a 2003 Valentine’s Day gig.  Wrapping up the fall leg is a three-night stand at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which will go down in Phish history as the first time the band has every played the venue.

Phish is touring in support of its new album, Fuego, released in June.  Here’s the fall tour.
