KISS, Afrojack, Miranda Lambert Rocking ‘Fashion Rocks’

Live performance isn’t just about the music. Lights, stage props, videos and fashion can all contribute to what makes a good show. KISS, Afrojack and Miranda Lambert are a few of the acts who will help highlight the relationship between fashion and music at September’s “Fashion Rocks.”

Hosted by the host-with-the-most Ryan Seacrest, the 2014 edition of Fashion Rocks is scheduled Sept. 9 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Fashion lovers who can’t make it to New York can catch the show live on CBS from 9-11 p.m. ET/PT.

The initial list of trendsetting performers also includes Duran Duran, Jennifer Lopez, Nico & Vinz, Rita Ora, The Band Perry and Usher. More performers and presenters will be added to the lineup in the coming weeks.

“Fashion Rocks is the only show that celebrates the inextricable link between fashion and music, a relationship that is more relevant today than ever before,” said executive producer Richard Beckman, CEO of Three Lions Entertainment. “For the first time we’ll air the event live during Fashion Week from Barclays Center. It will be a spectacular affair, featuring some of the world’s most talented musicians as well as today’s hottest fashions.”

An American Express card member presale begins July 28 at 10 a.m. EDT. The general onsale begins Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. EDT.
