‘Mamma Mia’ LV Shuts Down

“Mamma Mia!” may have been a hit on Broadway for decades but it ain’t no hit in Vegas.

The musical is shuttering after only three months on the Las Vegas Strip. The Tropicana casino welcomed the musical to its newly remodeled, 1,100-seat theatre in May with tickets ranging from $49 to $135.

However, even though the musical had a successful six-year stay at Mandalay Bay, it just wasn’t Abba-tastic down the street.
