Elbow, Ice Cube Returning

Live Nation confirmed British band Elbow will return after two years for three shows. The band will play the Sydney Opera House Oct. 25, Melbourne Forum Oct. 28 and Brisbane’s Tivoli Oct. 30.

Ice Cube returns for Metropolis Touring and Select Touring for three theatre dates Dec. 9-11.

Canada’s The Tea Party makes its 14th visit to Australia, behind the band’s first album in 10 years, The Ocean At The End. Nine Live booked them into theatres and clubs Oct. 9-23, with Aussie hard rock band The Superjesus opening.

Nighthawk Music brings Kenny Rogers back after his 2012 sellout dates. Part of his Through The Years world tour, The Gambler does nine shows in Australia Jan. 23 to Feb. 11, a mix of arenas, wineries and theatres. He also does two New Zealand arenas, Feb. 13-15.

The Bellamy Brothers return Oct. 3-18 for Artist Network Australia, including the eight-day Cruisin Country 4 on the Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas from Sydney to Noumea and New Caledonia in the South Pacific.

Canadian-born, London-based Kiesza makes her debut through Future Music and Frontier Touring with a one-off at the Sydney Metro Theatre Sept. 2.

Also making its Aussie debut, after a 28-year career, is U.S. metal band ProngNightmare Music has the band Nov. 20-22 at two clubs and the Metal Fiesta festival in Canberra.

Southern California duo Tomorrows Tulips will do six clubs Sept. 25 to Oct. 3 through Strange Yonder.
