Nuttin’ But ‘Happy Mistakes’ From Heffron Drive

Heffron Drive has a lot on its plate right now.  The band featuring Big Time Rush’s Kendall Schmidt launches a tour at the end of August and releases its first full-length album in September.

Dropping in early September, Happy Mistakes features Schmidt and music partner Dustin Belt working with several major talents.  The album’s co-writing and production credits are seriously star-enabled and include Jimmy Eat World’s Jimmy Adkins, 311’s Nick Hexum, Bryce Soderberg of Lifehouse, Sean Hamilton (Justin Bieber, Rihanna, B.O.B.) and DJ collective Rice and Peas.

The first single from Happy Mistakes is “Parallel,” which premiered on PBS’ Independence Day special, “A Capitol Fourth.”

Happy Mistakes is a passion project many years in the making,” Schmidt said.  “We’ve worked really hard on our new album and are so thrilled to finally share our new music with our fans.

“While this is only the beginning, it’s already been an incredible journey.  We are so thankful for the support we’ve received, as well as the opportunity to have worked with some of the greatest artists out there to make it happen.”
