Garth Goes South

Atlanta will be the first Southern stop for Garth Brooks’ world tour.  Continuing to announce his destinations one at a time, the country legend will roll into A-Town in mid-September.  More after the jump.

It’s been 18 years since Brooks has played Atlanta but all that will change Sept. 19 when he takes the stage at Philips Arena.  Brooks’ wife, Trisha Yearwood, is also on the ticket.

Brooks announced the first date of the tour – Sept. 4 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill. – earlier this month.  Staying true to his word, he gave the date to a fan before divulging information to the world.  Last week that single date quickly grew into multiple nights, some with two shows per evening, as fans snagged tickets.

But right now there’s only one Atlanta date.  Tickets are priced at $56.94 plus $4.56 tax and a $4.00 facility fee ($71.50 total) with the general onsale launching August 8 at 10 a.m.  Check out GarthBrooks.com for more information.
