More than 80,000 per day is a decent result, even if there were times in the past – such as 2004 – when a bill that included Faithless, Wir Sind Helden, Gentleman & The Far East Band, and Die Happy produced a crowd of more than 100,000 per day.
Although most of the festival site is free entry, fans can pay five euros ($6.70) to access the main stage arena.
This year 45,000 per day – as many as the space will hold – stumped up the extra change to see The BossHoss, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Madsen, Jupiter Jones, Judith Holofernes, Mad Caddies, The Computers, and Dub FX.
